Regarding the annals of Detroit rap, Peezy has already ensured his name will go down in regional history. Continuing a thematic run that kicked off with 2023’s *GHETTO* and the following year’s *Small Town Ghetto*, his *STILL GHETTO* looks both within and beyond his home state to propagate what he’s helped pioneer in the city. He does so with an elite guest list’s worth of features, with hit-making out-of-towners like French Montana and G Herbo as well as heavy hitting locals like Icewear Vezzo and 42 Dugg. A testament to the power and ubiquity of Michigan rap, some of these outsiders sound perfectly at home alongside him, trading rich hustler brags with Rick Ross on “Hide The Rest” and brooding in the lap of luxury with 2 Chainz on “Playboi Carti.” Still, while he thrives with R&B vet Jeremih and lifestyle-rap motivator Larry June, something special occurs when Peezy links with those forged in the same fires as him. For proof, look only to his Babyface Ray team-up “Let\'s Talk About It” and the elevated Big Sean closer “Give It All.”
